WITH KEY APPROVALS IN PLACE AND FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES TAKING HOLD, THE PROJECT IS GAINING MOMENTUM

More than 5 years after our foundation began, the Capital Gateway Beautification project is seeing great progress.

We are pleased with the financial support received to date with $80,000 already donated to our project. With the support of individuals and the business community, we look forward to proceeding with the planting season on four of the 18 sites which have been approved for planting. Our budget for each site, including trees, shrubs, planting and two years maintenance is $87,000.

We bagan our first project June 2017 at the RedTail Landing Golf Club by planting close to 90 trees and more than 50 shrub beds.

“RedTail Landing have really been super supporters of it...to get it started and see something happen along the corridor. It’s really nice for them to step forward and say you can plant on our lands.”
